Job summary

The temporary QHSE Administrator is a vital team player responsible for supporting the QHSE Manager and the on-site team in achieving and maintaining certifications such as ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, and SCCP. This role will adapt to evolving needs, encompassing additional certifications as required.

Reports to

The temporary QHSE Administrator reports to the QHSE Manager.

Essential duties and responsibilities

These responsibilities encompass a varied and dynamic role, contributing to the success of our QHSE initiatives and supporting the overall objectives of the organization.

Safety Training Management:

  • Oversee and manage safety training requirements for the site, ensuring compliance with established standards.

Training Course Coordination:

  • Book training courses and maintain up-to-date records on the training matrix.

Certification Implementation:

  • Assist in the implementation of certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SCCP and additional certifications.

Translation:

  • Translate policies, procedures, and risk assessments from English to German, and facilitate seamless communication.

Administration support:

  • Provide administrative and general support to the QHSE Manager and the surrounding department.
  • Actively contribute to the coordination and implementation of Health and Safety policies and practices.
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Education and experience

  • A foundation in higher education complemented by relevant work experience in QHSE or relevant role is essential.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of ISO certification is desirable.
  • Fluency in English and German for effective communication and document translation
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Excel and Word) and Google sheets

Licensing/certifications

  • Not required.

  • Strong attention to detail – maintaining a high standard of accuracy in documentation and processes.
  • Effective time management – optimizing productivity, meeting deadlines, and ensuring tasks are completed with precision.
  • Awareness of ISO Systems and Legal Compliance for HSE beneficial
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and adept at prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion of critical assignments.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and balance priorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.

Travel requirements

  • This role is based at our facilities in Heinsberg, Germany

Other

  • This position is temporary for a duration of 6 months.
